Growing up as a robot lover, Rex chose to develop his careers in computing technology and artificial intelligence after he graduated from Department of Computer Science and Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2008.

Rex co-founded Insight Robotics with his peers in 2009. Since then, the company’s business has expanded to South Africa, Canada, Malaysia and Indonesia. In 2015, The Wall Street Journal had selected it as one of the five most promising start-ups in Hong Kong.
