Innogrow – Sustainable Weed Control Solution

Projects supported by the Funding Scheme for student projects/activities by Tam Wing Fan Innovation Fund and Philomathia Foundation Innovation Fund

Project information

Project descriptions

The Innogrow project pioneers sustainable agriculture with a non-toxic, laser-based weed control system. It tackles weed-induced yield losses, herbicide resistance, and soil degradation by combining computer vision for precise weed detection and high-powered lasers for targeted eradication. Housed in a modular box, it’s adaptable to handheld tools and tractors, suiting diverse farm sizes. Compact and cost-effective, it offers a greener alternative to traditional methods, promoting soil health and crop productivity. By reducing chemical reliance, Innogrow enhances food security, public health, and eco-friendly farming, paving the way for a sustainable agricultural future.
