Join us for Student Game Dev Demo Night—an evening of creativity, inspiration, and community at HKU! Whether you’re just starting out or already have a game in progress, this workshop is your chance to showcase your projects, connect with fellow student developers, and spark new ideas.
Bring your friends, your games, your wildest ideas, and your passion! We’ll have live demos, collaborative feedback, and an ignite talk from Enoch (CS Y4) sharing hard-earned lessons from building his very first game with Unity.
Fireside Fridays are monthly game developer gatherings right here at HKU! Bring your projects to share your passion with the community!

Eligibility: All HKU staff and students are welcome to join.
Johnson S. is a games community manager and co-organizer for Game Dev Happy Hour (a local game development community) and Global Game Jam Hong Kong 2025. He’s also a hobbyist game developer, making small games with unique engines like PICO-8, Ink, and Ren’Py.
Sky Chan is a puzzle game designer-programmer with more than 6 years of experience. His most recent title, “The Night Falls for the Day”, was featured at the Indie Zone during LEVEL UP Play 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Find his games and more at https://skyychann.itch.io/
