Create A Desktop Air Conditioner With Klipper (A Firmware for 3D Printer)
Workshop offered by NestSpace

Date: April 17 & 18, 2024 (Wednesday & Thursday)

Time: 6:30 – 8:00pm

Venue: Makerspace A, Tam Wing Fan Innovation Wing One, HKU

The rising industry of 3D printing has not only transformed manufacturing but also gained immense importance in engineering careers. Among remarkable innovations in this field, Klipper firmware stands out as a key technology enabling fast and reliable 3D printing.

Recognizing the shared principles and mechanisms between 3D printing and other applications, we have chosen to host a workshop that focuses on utilizing the Klipper to create a desktop air conditioning unit. By delving into its architecture and applying it to this project, we aim to provide students with a valuable opportunity to equip themselves with the future of this industry. Through this workshop, we aspire to foster creativity, innovation, and practical skills that can be applied to a wide range of engineering endeavors.
