Dr. Zheng Wang, Founder and CEO of Wisson Robotics

Dr Z. Wang is the founder and CEO of Wisson Robotics, a global pioneer in general-purpose soft robots. By developing and deploying innovative soft robots with high safety, high performance, and low cost, Wisson aims to bring next-generation robotic products to the industry and households. Prior to founding Wisson, Dr Wang spent over a decade in academia, formerly a professor at the Institute of Robotics, Southern Univ. of Science and Technology, China, and an assistant professor at Department of Mechanical Engineering at HKU. Dr Wang holds a first degree in Automatic Control from Tsinghua University, China, PhD in Robotics from Technical University Munich, Germany, and served postdoc fellowships in NTU, Singapore and Harvard, USA.
