Aviation industry in an essential element of Hong Kong economy. About 330,000 jobs are supported by air transport and overseas tourists. The air transport industry, includes airlines and its supply chain, is estimated to have a direct benefit of 2.54% of GDP in Hong Kong. Some of our graduates develop their career in aviation industry, e.g. commercial airline pilot, aircraft engineer, etc. In this activity, students are expected to build a glider, fine-tune it and test its performance. During the model building process, flight simulation will be available for students to try RC plane control.
