Archaeology and Augmented Reality have something in common, both are naturally three dimensional. Working on combining these two, our team suggests an innovative solution which sets the AR headsets to support the ongoing archaeological excavations for the first time ever. We equip an archaeologist with a head-mounted device which can place back the excavated and removed features from the trench. This option enables us to actually see things instead of imagining and memorizing them. The impact is significant to the understanding and interpretation of discovered material heritage. We invite you to try the “new archaeologist’s perspective” with augmented vision.
